Single cask single malt from Highland Park, originally bottled for Stockholm's Arlanda Airport. It was drawn from one hogshead, which was laid down in 2005 and cracked open 12 years later in 2018. Just 275 bottles were produced. Arlanda Airport is one of two Stockholm airports - the larger one, in fact! Fun bit of trivia for all you globetrotters out there.
Floral smoke arrives first, followed by almond, cinnamon cookies and orange peel.
Still slightly festive with sweet spices and fragrant orange. Becomes earthy and coastal as it develops.
Liquorice, soft smoke and caramel.
