This was distilled at Highland Park on the 13th December 1990 before a 20 year maturation in sherry butt 15697 before bottling by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection on the 3rd November 2011. A release of 455 numbered bottles at natural cask strength.
Buttery and fruity, notes of salty sea air, hints of light smoke, heather honey, manuka honey and camphor.
Kippers, toffee, espresso beans, honey and sugared peels. Gentle wafts of cool woodsmoke, linseed oil and pine needles.
Long, marmalade, black pepper and zest.
