Heroes & Heretics have snapped up a beautiful old Speyside single malt here. The single cask bottling was distilled back in 1992 and aged for 29 years before it was bottled up at 48.9% ABV and is presented in the beautiful Tenet branding.
Blackcurrant jam, sweet coffee, hazelnuts, and ginger.
Sponge cake with strawberry jam, savoury malt, toasted oak, and orchard fruit.
A long finish, with creamy vanilla and oak spice.
Very sweet, well balanced, not much wood. There are other casks beginning with 14088, much more expensive.
Tropical fruits on steroids, rumoured to be Tormore
