Heaven's Door 10 Year Old Redbreast Master Blenders' Edition
An exciting collaboration here between Heaven's Door and Redbreast! Created by by duo of master blenders (hence the name Master Blenders' Edition), Ryan Perry of Heaven's Door and the renowned Billy Leighton, this is a 10 year old bourbon whiskey which has been finished in casks that previously held Redbreast single pot still whiskey. Fascinating stuff from Bob Dylan's already compelling collection of expressions!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeycomb and butterscotch, hints of plum, Campino sweets, almonds, and cherries.
Palate
Still enjoyably nutty, now with walnut and chocolate peanut in the mix. Raisin, cinnamon, more butterscotch, orange peel, and vanilla.
Finish
Well-rounded caramel, peppercorn, and plum notes last and last.
