The first release in the Athrú Small Batch series from Lough Gill! This expression is made with a blend of malt Irish whiskeys, drawn from bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and Madeira casks. A great showcase of blending skill, offering up delicious fruity notes wrapped up in rich toffee and warming spices.
Vanilla tablet and crème brûlée, with a hint of raspberry jam underneath.
The berry notes come to the fore on the palate, with fresh strawberries and blackcurrants. Still packed with vanilla.
