Reviews for Grant's Family Reserve
Very smooth and light
So smooth and light, on the rocks it's almost refreshing. Very quaffable, easy drinking, a good whisky to keep in your cupboard for any occasion. At this price you'd be daft not to buy a bottle.

Cheap grainy vodka like taste
Title says it all. I tasted a 43% version on 10 Feb 2016. It was pretty basic. For a couple of dollars more you can get Johnnie Black label which is far better. Or Teacher's which in my opinion is better for same price if not a bit cheaper. The Grants is really quite thin in terms of flavour because the grain taste is so prominent.

Grants Blended Scotch whiskey.
I have bought Grant's Blended Scitch Whiskey for most of my adult life, (I will be 80 in December). I would like to commend you on your marketing 'package'.
1. The shape and proportions of the bottle. So safe and easy to hold. Don't change it! I still find it difficult to discard it into the waste glass bottles. Possibly of an even more recogniseably iconic design than the original glass Coke bottle!
2. The label. Most attractive, seductive design and use of colours, gold, black and white. Even the discrete rear label with 'Drinkaware' advice and other information.
3. The embossed crest on the 'rear' elevation of the bottle. Subtitle, unobtrusive.
4. The design of the cap. Easy to remove / replace and artistically attractive.
5. The colour of the contents. A warm Amber hue.
6. The evocative aroma and light, pleasing flavour, also very seductive.
7. Its suitability for drinking as a mixer or 'neat'.
8. And finally, the name, 'Grant's' one syllable easy to say in any language and remember.
In duty-free, and with rare exceptions, (special offers!), I can not resist buying it.
Every time I picked up your distinctive triangular section bottle, I thought, 'I really must tell your marketing people my thoughts, so here they are!
Just saying 'Well done'. No begging or scrounging, just telling you my thoughts on your marketing strategy. Long live British (Scotish) Industry.
