A blended whisky from William Grant & Sons, finished in oloroso sherry casks. Lovely balance.
The nose is quite light and fruity. There are notes of nut oils and mixed peels, hints of honey and a little oaken note. The palate is of medium-body and quite well-balanced. There are notes of sherried peels and sultanas, winter fruitcake with spice and developing oak. The finish is nutty and long with dried fruit notes.

At first a bit rough but after time in bottle down by half and a few days rest quite luscious - adding only a tiny bit of water accentuates the barley malt sweetness and caramel elements. As a single malt guy I was skeptical at first but have come to appreciate this blended whiskey.
I do not know why I bought this but I am glad I did. Very smooth and ranks with the best imo.
Is a good option for low budget. Tasty and better when opened the flavors with 1cc of vermouth and few cold water.
I had this whisky given to me by my son at Christmas. I usually drink single malts but right from my first taste of this I was hooked. It is so smooth and gives out such absolutely delicious flavours I just had to buy some more.Superb.Congratulations on such a lovely Whiskey
Harsh smell and taste and doesn't taste any different from original Grants. I purchased this instead of a better whisky (IMO) based on reviews and wished I hadn't - not a fan.
