The Glenturret Triple Wood (2020 Maiden Release)
Glenturret has given its wonderful Triple Wood expression something of a makeover, and this is the handsome result! Matured in a combination of both European and American oak sherry casks as well as bourbon barrels, it's all spice and vanilla at the fore of this one.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oaky vanilla and Lotus biscuits, with cinnamon sugar and a pinch of tobacco.
Palate
Cigar box and ripe berries, leading into crystallised ginger and caramel digestives.
Finish
Plum skin and toasty oak linger.
