Description
A mighty addition to Glenturret's annual releases, 2023 sees an extremely rare 35-year-old single malt join the collection. The whisky was drawn from a single European oak sherry butt, selected for its unusually complex character by Glenturret whisky maker Bob Dalgarno.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramelised tropical fruits, soft marshmallows, and rich vanilla custard.
Palate
Dried raisins interwoven with notes of toasted oak. Cinnamon and bright wood spices precede citrus fruits and sultanas with hints of oak and sweet vanilla.
Finish
Lingering fruity finish sprinkled with bursts of warm spice.
