A Strictly Limited smoky Glenturret here, bottled by the cracking Càrn Mòr! This 8 year old Ruadh Maor (that's the name used for peated Glenturret single malt) was distilled in 2011 and left to age in a pair of hogshead casks until 2020, when it was bottled at 47.% ABV. 837 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Toasted barley and sugary oatmeal, with a whiff of tinned peaches.

Palate More honeyed than the palate, with vanilla and toffee pennies. Still packing waves of toasty, vegetal smoke.

Finish Lingering paprika smokiness and heat.

A very smoky and upfront scent, grows more complex with each sniff.
A deft blow of peat gives way to dried fruit flavours and then smoky bacon.
Ace smoky, salty finish.
