Ruadh Maor single malt here, which is the name for peated whisky produced at Glenturret in the Highlands! Distilled on 3 July 2012, it was matured in a hogshead for most of its days before being moved to a first-fill Veneta Botti amarone sherry barrique for a two-year finish. Hannah Whisky Merchants bottled the whisky in July 2022, with 315 cask strength bottles released for the Lady of the Glen series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Salted butter on toast, with a dollop of raspberry jam balanced by savoury smoke.

Palate Salted caramel sauce drizzled over pancakes, with smoked meats in tow, alongside cooked plum.

Finish Stewed blackberry, fragrant peat smoke, and a good crack of black pepper.
