From Douglas Laing comes this wonderfully sherried Highlander, distilled at Glenturret in March 2004. It spent its entire ageing in a single sherry puncheon, until November 2019 when it was bottled after 15 years of maturation. A limited 344 bottles were released for the Old Particular series at 48.4% ABV.
Decadently sweet, with crème brûlée, Highland toffee and chocolate fudge.
Chocolate custard and raisin, followed by banana bread and vanilla buttercream icing alongside homemade strawberry jam.
Candied walnut alongside syrup sponge and toasted fruitcake.
