Distilled in 1992 and aged in sherry casks before bottling at cask strength in 2006. A 14 year old single malt from Glenturret, the key component of the Famous Grouse blend.
The nose is full of dried peels and honeyed notes. A little aniseed with thick toffee and malty barley. Some liquorice, notes of soft acidity and rich oak with a syrupy feel. The palate is rich and fruity. Notes of blossom and floral honey, hints of liquorice and a marmalade and a solid sugary sweetness. The finish is long and sherried with a touch of smoke.
