Glentauchers 8 Year Old 2014 (casks 109, 111 & 112) Small Batch (James Eadie)
Creamy, sweet Glentauchers, distilled in 2014 and matured in a trio of first-fill bourbon barrels for the next eight years. James Eadie bottled the Speysider in 2022 for its Small Batch series with a release of 1,058 bottles adorned with a label inspired by The Vine Cottage Inn, Coventry, created by artist Cristina Buonanno.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Milk chocolate, apricot pastry, oily malt, and buttery oak.
Palate
Flecks of white pepper balanced by caramelised nuts, vanilla, and shortbread biscuits.
Finish
Chocolate raisins, biscuity malt, and oaky sweetness.
