This is a real find – 44-year-old single malt from Glentauchers, independently bottled by Forgotten Gems. The outturn for this one isn't even in double figures, with just nine bottles released, so don't hang about!
Rich, sweet notes of apple sauce and waxy tropical fruits tangle, with dusty old oak and leather joined by trickles of honey.
Gently waxy with generous helpings of ripe, juicy mango and sweet, tropical fruits, backed by earthy oaken spice, and sweet vanilla tablet.
Sweet, candied fruit lingers, with rich oak and cigar box spice.
