An independent bottling of 21 year old Glentauchers single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2015 by Gleann Mór for their A Rare Find range. 163 bottles were produced, bottled at 52.3% ABV.
Freshly baked iced buns. Apples orchards and a hint of vegetal oak.
Toffee-coated apple pieces, honey'd barley and a little bit of almond nuttiness.
Cinnamon sweetness, with a hint of hot spice coming through right at the end.
A delightful and well-structured dram. It seems so all-of-a-piece; its flavours are vanilla and sweet with a warm amber spice finish. Amazing value for high-end drinking!
