2004 vintage single malt from the Glentauchers distillery, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the relaunched Distillery Labels series. After maturing in refill American hogsheads until 2018, this whisky was bottled at 43% ABV, with a wonderfully retro label.
Peach, candle wax, a soft hint of chocolate truffle.
Apricot, more chocolate, peppercorn, lemon peel and strawberry jam.
Malted barley, cedar and shortbread.
