Glentauchers 20 Year Old 1996 (cask 1402 & 1406) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)
20 year old Glentauchers, inependently bottled by the chaps from Signatory as part of their constantly impressive Cask Strength Collection. This was distilled in February 1996 and matured in a pair of bourbon barrels for two decades before being bottled in January 2017. A small release of 294 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Mixed nuts, extra thick double cream, mint leaf and stem ginger.
Palate
Exotic spices arrive first, along with zesty pineapple and guava.
Finish
Fig, cinnamon and sugared almond.
