Glentauchers’ naturally fruity character holds its ground well here, even with the added influence of an octave cask finish. The vintage 2008 single malt is part of The Octave series by Duncan Taylor and was bottled at 54.3% ABV.
Fresh apples and pears, honey drizzle, baking spices and soft vanilla.
Orchard fruit, gentle spice, malt sweetness and subtle oak influence.
Softly oaked with lingering fruit and spice.
