Glentauchers 11 Year Old 2010 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
Distilled at Glentauchers in 2010, this single malt was allowed to mature in first-fill sherry butts for a decade. Following this 10 year rest, the whisky was bottled up without chill-filtration by Càrn Mòr for its Strictly Limited range, with a total of 1,690 bottles released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Milk chocolate coated Malted Milk biscuits alongside heaps of fruit and nuts.
Palate
Baked apples, sweet zesty orange, and cherries, with sweet raisin pastry, caramelised pecans, and juicy sultanas.
Finish
Dates and figs, soaked stone fruits with warming baking spice.
