An 11 year old single malt from the Glentauchers Distillery, independently bottled by Alistair Walker as part of its Infrequent Flyers series. This one was distilled back in 2009 and eventually bottled up after a finishing period in a ruby Port cask, producing 288 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh fruit with a hint of funky esters, along with a touch of raspberry.
Palate
Brown sugar, cinder toffee and another helping of red fruit. A lingering helping of cinnamon.
Finish
Ginger, almond and caramel apple.
