An appetising Glenrothes single cask, independently bottled by Wemyss Malts. This was distilled in 1996 and set aside to age in a hogshead cask until 2016, when Wemyss bottled it up with an outturn of 353 bottles and bestowed it the name Hedgerow Berries.
It's clear why Wemyss gave it the name Hedgerow Berries right from the start - oodles of red berry sweetness on the nose!
Caramel-rich malt, with underlying hints of sawdust. Blueberries and honeydew melon.
Subtle oak-y spice with another touch of fruity jam.
