Bourbon
Single cask single malt from the excellent Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, independently bottled by our fair hands for our very own Single Cask Series. This 25-year-old whisky was distilled in March 1991 (a few years after they added two more stills to their already sizeable collection of eight!) and matured in a bourbon hogshead until August 2016.
All manner of after-dinner treats - pecan pie, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownies! There's a slight hint of tobacco leaf hiding in there too...
Peach and lychee give it a core of creamy fruit notes. Pencil shavings, salted butter, dried barley and a touch of white grape.
Hot chocolate with a kick of chilli. Spicy hops. Bourbon-y vanilla.
