Description
A delicious release from the Glenrothes Wine Merchant's Collection range (each of which finished in different types of cask from top producers). This whisky was finished in a cask that previously held Lustau sherry! A release of 648 bottles.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sticky toffee pudding, raisins and plums.
Palate
Citrus begins to develop on the palate (perhaps lemon drizzle cake). Soon joined by dark chocolate.
Finish
White grapes, orange peels.
