Single malt Scotch from Glenrothes, matured for 14 years between 2007 and 2022. Those years were spent inside a first-fill sherry hogshead, and bottled under the watchful eye of the team at Gordon & MacPhail. A total of 313 bottles were released at cask strength for the Connoisseurs Choice series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chewy toffee, honeyed dates, spiced coffee, and old oak.
Palate
The coffee sticks around with earthy, roasted character alongside toasted marzipan and sultana sweetness.
Finish
Brown sugar lingers while candied orange and creamy vanilla soften a pinch of nutmeg.
