Nose: Treacle tarts, cinnamon sticks, melted butter and oodles of raisins.

Glenrothes 10 Year Old (cask 5280) - Dràm Mòr Reviews

This is an Ideal Dram to have whilst reading a great book

This Glenrothes 10yo was fantastic in appearance a burnished gold colour the sherry notes are strong within the nose of this dram with berry fruit honeyed toffee wood and a slight tinge of leather.
The palate was sweet creamy and smooth again the taste of early morning berry fruit that is slightly sharp is complimented by honey and wood that evaporates as this is 58%abv
The finish is long and warm
When Ice is added to the dram the honey becomes more pronounced and makes the leather come out with a hint of grass and orange.
The finish remains long but smoother and warm at £60 it's a bit of a steal and great value you will be hard pressed to find as good of a dram
