This towering Glenrothes was matured for three decades in a single first-fill oloroso sherry butt before being bottled at cask strength, 57.4% ABV. Just 497 bottles were filled as part of the Cask Strength Collection by Signator. A dark, decadent beast.
Dried dates, rich balsamic, chocolate fudge, and prunes, lifted by polished oak and rancio-laced spice.
Molasses cake, cocoa nibs, roasted hazelnuts, and old Demerara rum.
dark espresso, antique wood, and an earthy, spicy tail.
