Glenmorangie Sherry Wood

A Glenmorangie finished in sherry casks that demonstrates clearly the effects finishing can have on a whisky. The distillery character is there but you can definitely taste the oloroso.

Please Note: This bottle has a dented lid.

Glenmorangie 12 year - Sherry Wood finish
I'm not a huge Scotch drinker, but this is excellent. It's earthy with a sweet finish from the Sherry wood. My bottle has a gold 12 on the front that states aged for 12 years. I think non-scotch drinkers would find this to be a great scotch to try.

Early version of the Lasanta
Any lover of sherried scotches could do worse than track a bottle of this one down. A delight to nose and sip, I actually like this a little bit more than the current Glenmorangie Lasanta. A solid Scotch for quiet moments
