a step down from the glen quinta ruban, but still find this very moreish, overall prefer glendronach 12 as an entry level sherry cask, but this is still a good malt
I went in the store for some other brand and i saw this one was on sale for $49.99 .What a mistake.I am a newbie but for me the taste is like some cheap strong brandy. Now i know. This is my first and last Glenmorangie.
I must say being used to peaty Islay malts, this Highland is absolutely beautiful! A pleasure on the nose and palate I recommend this to anyone who has a penchant for sherry finished whiskeys. A real treat!!
has notes of a dr pepper or a absinthe.
great whisky
