A lot of different scotches have crossed my palate in the last 50 yrs and this is the best. I shared with an old time friend, another veteran scotch drinker, and he could not stop praising the smoothness and flavor. My wife toured your distillery last August and returned with this. Just opened (Mar 17 St Patties day) and told her she could not have found a better "souvenir".
A step up in age over the several 12 Year Glenmorangie 'finished' whiskies in the line, the Artein contains 15 and 21 Year casks and finished in Tuscan wine barrels for a lovely fruity nose and a delicious creamy taste that lingers for long while. A great after-dinner dram and ridiculously easy to drink. Stock up on it, it's probably going to harder to find in the coming months and years.
I gave this whisky 5 stars because it is simply wonderful extremely fruity and well balanced the aftertaste just leaves you wanting more of this whisky,if you like the lasanta and Quinta rubin you will love this whisky
