Distilled in 1993, bottled in 2004, this impressive limited edition single malt from Glenmorangie showcases the distillery's adventurous side when it comes to experimental maturations. The whisky was matured in burr oak casks, a variety that is native to the US and Canadian borders. Burr oak grows taller and slower and is a more knotty species than the more commonly seen white oak, and it isn't a variety that we see used all too often. A release of 1,152 bottles.
