A limited edition collaborative bottling from Glenmorangie of its 18 Year Old Extremely Rare single malt, created with Japanese flower artist Azuma Makoto. Inspired by the scents he found in the whisky, Azuma Makoto created some fantastic floral artwork Dancing flower of Glenmorangie, which you can see on the label and presentation box. Immensely stylish indeed!

Creamy and tangy notes of citrus, cinnamon, stewed fruits and caramel-drizzled pannacotta.
The palate is tropical and creamy with nectarines in yoghurt, acacia honey, peaches in cream and butterscotch.
Ends on tangy oak and grilled grapefruit with plenty of dark sugar caramelised on top…
My personal assessment after enjoying first, then with a quarter that teaspoon filtered water is that neat, the look is as described by others of a light golden yellow honey. The smell is indeed floral and connoting hibiscus and early honey suckle and other flowers. The taste is lighter in presence than the. Traditionally marketed Glenmorangie 18 that to my tastebuds carries flavours of hibiscus and several varieties of apple. The finish is rather quicker than one might have expected, followed by a similarly timed burn. The addition of the quarter spoon of water to the dram contributed to a only slightly lighter yet most pleasurable drink that carried all the other attributes while diminishing the referenced burn.
