A 12 year old from Glenmorangie which was aged for 10 years in American oak before being finished Premier Cru wine casks for 2 years.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
The nose is refined and smooth. Notes of blossom and acacia honey, a little grassiness and beeswax with spirity notes and an elegant herbal quality. Tones of damson jam and apricot crumble. The palate is quite sweet and smooth. Notes of oak and allspice with a hint of Madeira. Notes of arak and a touch of vinosity. The finish is long and spicy with a little fruit and barley sugar.

The best I ever bought and/or tasted so far... (And I am a Glenmorangoholic)
