Say hello to the fifth That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottling of single malt from the Glenlossie distillery! It's a 25 year old expression, packed with fresh fruit and caramel notes all the way through. No onion notes, despite what you might thing when looking at the label - that's just a reference to Glenlossie's onion-shaped stills!
Batch 5 is a release of 519 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Greengages, white grapes, raspberries and chocolate digestives.
Palate
Juicy apples and pears, followed by a hint of citrus sharpness cutting through. Drying oak heat develops.
Finish
Menthol, waxy peels, diced almonds atop sponge cake with a dusting of icing sugar.
