This single malt is brought to us as part of the Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland series from indie bottler James Eadie. Distilled in 2009, this whisky spent 16 years maturing, including a generous 39-month finish in a single European oak oloroso sherry butt. A release of 697 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Jelly beans, cola sweets and summer pudding, before softer floral, delicate notes of cinnamon and roasted cardamom emerge.
Palate
Fresh, zesty notes of summer fruits, red apples and juicy figs merge with cloves, orange peel and sultanas.
Finish
Thick strawberry jam with a touch of crushed black pepper.
