Glenlossie 12 Year Old 2009 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
This tremendous Speyside single malt was distilled at Glenlossie in 2009 and matured in red wine barriques! After 12 years of rest, the whisky was independently bottled by Càrn Mòr, with 1,603 bottles released in 2021.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Almond butter on toasted brown bread, blackcurrant, and gingersnaps.
Palate
Sultanas, red berries, and dried fruit, caramel nuts, vanilla toffee and a touch of liquorice.
Finish
Redcurrant jelly, malty dark chocolate, cinnamon, and oaky spice.
