Glenlossie 12 Year Old 2008 (cask 12476A) - The Single Cask
This right here is a 12 year old single malt from the Glenlossie Distillery, which has been independently bottled by The Single Cask! It was distilled back in December 2008 and allowed a finishing period in a first-fill Oloroso sherry octave before being bottled up in February 2021. A small release of 79 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pencil shavings, honeyed malt, Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, a hint of chamomile.
Palate
Apple turnovers dusted with brown sugar, butterscotch, cinnamon sticks and oak spiciness.
Finish
Still has a hint of oily oak to it, though balanced by caramel and red fruit sweetness.
