A UK-exclusive Glenlossie here from James Eadie, distilled in 2010. The Speysider matured in a trio of first-fill ex-bourbon and re-charred hogsheads for a decade, until 2021 when it was bottled for the Small Batch series. This particular bottling has a majestic blue boar scampering across the label, inspired by The Blue Boar pub owned by James Eadie himself!
Porridge drizzled with golden syrup, with honeyed orchard fruit, lemon curd, and brown sugar.
Enjoyably creamy, with apple crumble and lots of custard balanced by peppery oak.
Tart tatin, and apricot jam on toast.

A true delight despite its higher proof of 46% it is enjoyably smooth with the right amount of warmth and oozing flavours can't go wrong for the price either 10/10.
Massively vanilla nose, in a really good, creamy way. Oily and lovely in the mouth. Nice medium amount of smooth heat. Long finish, staying on a single, very enjoyable note. Summer evening whisky. Would buy a full bottle, certainly at this price. (Rating takes account of price.)
