Glenlossie 10 Year Old 2009 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
A single cask Glenlossie, distilled over in Speyside back in 2009. The single malt was filled into a single hogshead, where it stayed for the following decade. In 2019, when the whisky had reached 10 years of age, Càrn Mòr cracked open the cask and bottled it for the Strictly Limited series. The hogshead yielded a limited 380 bottles at 47.5% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery gingersnap biscuits, sugared almond, banana and pecan loaf with candied orange.
Palate
Smooth milk chocolate praline, salted caramel and fresh hay.
Finish
Oily malt and barley sugar with dark chocolate shavings.
