Single Malt
Scotland

This is a fifteen year old Glenlivet from Gordon and MacPhail's distillery label range. Glenlivet is perhaps the archetypal Speyside with many distilleries previously calling themselves Glenlivet before trade mark law got in the way!
This is an aromatic dram with notes of pear drops and caramel sweets.
The palate is creamy and fruity with a hint of peat smoke at the back.
The finish is full-bodied with notes of stone fruit.

My favourite Speyside Malt (15 Year Old) Prefer it to Balvenie Double Wood which a lot of North East Folks are drinking at the moment.
What a shame one of the most beautiful whiskey's, I have enjoyed over many years, has been discontinued. I have 1 part bottle and 1 full bottle, can anybody recommend anything close, I cannot. I am gutted
