This is a rare Glenlivet bottled at cask-strength without chill-filtration. This whisky was matured in a second fill hogshead cask which only yielded 307 bottles of this excellent Speyside whisky.
This whisky is big on the tropical fruit aromas with estery pear drops and rose water notes emerging with time in the glass.
Strawberry and raspberry jam with gingerbread dough and a smattering of wood spice.
The finish is pleasingly long with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg chased with a touch of vanilla.
This is a fruity offering from Glenlivet which displays the age of this limited single malt whisky well.
