Time well spent. This single malt whisky from Glengoyne (originally a travel retail exclusive) was matured for over a quarter of a century in oloroso sherry casks – and it shows. Just 1,400 bottles exist of this deeply luxurious dram, which embodies the distillery’s famously unhurried approach.
Crafted using the slowest stills in Scotland and casks that take six years to prepare before ageing a single drop, it delivers layer upon layer of indulgence – brown sugar, dark chocolate, and vanilla, wrapped in a rich sherry-soaked embrace.
