Single cask 20 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery in the Highlands, drawn from a refill hogshead which housed the whisky from April 1996 to June 2016. 245 bottles were produced for Douglas Laing's Old Particular range.
Hazelnuts, sugared peels and milk chocolate.
Rounded barley carries a surfeit of citrus and caramel notes.
Soft oak develops a pleasing spiciness, balanced by orange oil.
