
20 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery, aged in a refill hoggie which was laid down in 1996 and opened in 2016. This comes to us via Hunter Laing's First Editions series, with a very small outturn of only 83 bottles. Glengoyne whiskies are often very well-Sherried indeed, but this is a great chance to see the more honey'd side of their malt...
Marzipan, buttery biscuits, freshly picked redcurrants.
Honey drizzled over gingerbread and orange segments. Quite oak-y at points.
Brown sugar and mint leaf.
