Matured in a Sherry hogshead cask, this Glengoyne single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 1999 and bottled by Malts of Scotland in 2017 at 52.5% ABV, with an outturn of 211 bottles. A classic Glengoyne flavour profile, boasting rich Sherry and worn leather notes by the bucket-load.

Nose
Juicy figs and golden syrup lead with toasted almonds, before aromas of soft earth and distressed leather filter through.
Palate
A litany of classic flavours moves through an interesting palate, blackberry jam, softening plums, rich barley, winter spices, tart marmalade and cracked black pepper all develop and fade with varying degrees.
Finish
Some earl grey tea, brown sugar and hazelnut linger.
