“I have tried the 18 and the 10 year old but found this to be more distinctive. It is lovely neat. Even better with oatcakes and cheese. Well that is my preference. Def in my top 10”

Completely unpeated (unusual in the highlands), this Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very quaffable. A fine single malt!

Toffee apples, a little acacia honey, nectarine in syrup and spice, supported by toasted barley in the background.

Palate

Over-ripe grapes, honeyed with hints of vanilla, coconut milk and oak spice. Light touches of chocolate ice-cream.

Long, oily finish with lingering coffee notes.

There’s a hint if lemon lime love in my mouth. Amazing!

Makes me tingly

Excellent whisky

Wonderful nose, very complex. Delicious clean flavor, fruity, malty. I love this whisky.

You don't have to be old to be good enough

One of my favourites. Clean, fresh, continuous, with no lacks, proeminent malt flavour that I love, medium to long finish. It is getting better after a few weeks opened.

Beautiful

Wow this is good. Another lovely surprise in the advent calendar. A beautiful nose of honey and raisins leads to an even better taste and a warming finish. Quality stuff and definitely one for the shopping list
