Glengoyne
Scotland
Single Malt

It almost sounds like a song, the spring of '72 is a nutty, fruity single malt from Glengoyne with notes of apples and pears and plenty of almond.
The nose is very fresh and of medium-body. There are notes of fresh cut flowers and rubbed petals, apple peels and marzipan, a hint of dried fruit and a nutty note. The palate is firm and fresh. There are notes of Cox apple and pear, a hint of Calvados and a Madeira note, a cut straw note with apple blossom. The oak develops beautifully. The finish is long and a touch dry.
