It´s LOVE in a bottle..........
Worth every penny of the (hi) price tag.
A truly memorable dram! This whisky is immense with a nose overflowing of all the best bits of Christmas. Beautifully soft and round and yet powerful and spicey a the same time. Very well finished for what is really quite a young whisky. Can't wait to sip this by the fire on Christmas night :-)
Tried this with a friend of mine. Big WOW on the nose. We both took our time before actually taking a sip. Color is unbelievable and the first sip wakes up your whole palate. Very, very spicy. Astringent on the finish. Water tames it a bit and brings out a dark chocolate note, but I wouldn't add too more than a few drops to an ounce; it takes away some of the more vital notes. Glad I could try this very bold whisky.
