The 12 year old from Glengoyne was released in September 2004. This single malt won a Double Gold at the 2005 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Nose: Biscuity, buttery shortbread. Apple.
Palate: Very zingy, lots of barley, lemon sherbet.
Finish: Barley, biscuity.

Light enough to start an evening off with, enough sweetness to balance the dry oaky taste. Apple and dare I say unripe apricot. Plenty of barley and oak.
