Distilled at Glenglassaugh, this single malt matured for six years, including a finish in a first-fill oloroso hogshead. That cask was picked out by the clever folks at indie bottler Dràm Mòr, releasing a total of 253 bottles of this wholesome Highlander.
Toasted pecans, dates, and raisins, with brown sugar and mellow ginger.
Feisty warmth is kept in check with layers of burnt brown sugar and toffee sweetness. Trickles of honey, juicy raisins, and malty oak follow.
Barley sugar sweeties linger, along with more treacle and fresh spice.
